“My life in 20 years” BY: Ali My life has changed so much in the last twenty years I am 33 years old and I have gotten married and had two kids named Christian and Catlin Beadles. My family and I live in a medium size house in Countryside IL and we have a puppy schnauzer named Pepper.
I learned a lot at Gurrie Middle School that have improved my life and made it better the first was...meeting new people because it was a new school and I new that I was going to make new friends so I had to do it eventually. The second thing was me learning new things. I learned many things in Gurrie because the teachers have taught me a lot. I also learned how to use time wisely it helped me a lot with homework.
The advances in technology at Gurrie were learning how to sew in 7th grade life skills and in 8th grade you learn to cook. Also you took an applied technology class and you learn how to use big machines like jigsaws and band saws to make a car and at the end of the quarter, we race them.
Reunion…the day I got to see all of my old best friends and bad friends. That would probably bring back memories of drama and having more friends than others. Also, those who are married might have kids and it would be fun to see there faces twenty years from being in middle school and know out of college.
So, my life twenty years ago was very hectic and crazy and I was a very confident child in picking and choosing the right thing. Also for going to a good college for being a vet and getting a job at the Merrick Animal Hospital and working part time at Emma's bakery who also went to Gurrie with me. Learning many things at Gurrie helped me in life and my teachers confidence in me helped me believe that I could do any thing I wanted to.
